About the role
Marvell Data Centre Engineering (DCE) – Compute & Storage builds next‑generation high‑performance silicon platforms for carrier, cloud, and automotive markets. As a Technical Manager in Physical Design, you architect and lead advanced physical design methodologies, guide RTL‑to‑GDSII flows, and mentor senior and junior engineers. The role is based in Bangalore, on‑site, with opportunities to collaborate globally across RTL, verification, and CAD teams.
What you’ll do
- Architect next‑generation physical design methodologies
- Lead RTL‑to‑GDSII implementation and timing closure
- Mentor and coach engineers
- Evaluate and adopt emerging EDA tools
- Represent team in strategic technical discussions
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 15‑20 years of professional experience
- Expertise in large complex design synthesis, floorplanning, place & route
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, Python
- In‑depth knowledge of Verilog/VHDL
- Experience with PCIe, Memory, Ethernet subsystems
- Experience with 2nm‑5nm process nodes
- Strong object‑oriented programming skills
