About the role
Cloud Infrastructure team at Cadence designs, builds and operates large-scale public, private and hybrid cloud platforms supporting AI/ML, HPC and EDA workloads. The Staff Systems Engineer leads architecture, OpenStack implementation, multi‑cloud integration and automation using Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines. Based in Noida or Bangalore, India, on‑site role with hybrid responsibilities across data centers and cloud regions.
What you’ll do
- Define and implement reference architectures for private and hybrid cloud
- Lead OpenStack deployments, upgrades and performance optimization
- Design integration patterns for AWS, Azure and GCP workloads
- Develop infrastructure‑as‑code automation with Terraform, Ansible, Helm
- Drive SRE practices to improve observability, reliability and incident response
- Mentor senior engineers and influence platform roadmap
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
- Deep hands‑on OpenStack production experience
- Design and operation of large‑scale private/hybrid clouds
- Leadership on complex cross‑team initiatives
