About the role
Hardware Engineering team at Qualcomm designs next-generation Network-on-Chip (NoC) interconnect fabrics for SoCs powering smartphones, notebooks, smart glasses, automotive and server products. The Senior Lead/Staff engineer defines micro-architecture, specifications and RTL design of coherent and non-coherent interconnect IPs, builds robust testbenches, drives functional, power and security verification, and collaborates globally with architecture, verification, physical design and performance teams. What you’ll do
- Define and design next-gen Qualcomm coherent and non-coherent interconnect fabrics
- Specify micro-architecture and design interconnect IPs
- Develop scalable testbenches and verification environments for functional, power, performance, security and debug features
- Collaborate with SoC architecture, verification, physical design, floorplan and performance teams globally
- Partner with performance teams to meet interconnect performance requirements and validate silicon designs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 7+ years experience
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 6+ years experience
