About the role
Qualcomm India Private Limited seeks a Senior Engineer or Lead for NOC (RTL) Design in Bangalore, India. The role involves planning, designing, optimizing, and verifying electronic systems, circuits, and hardware components to support next-generation products. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, yield, and quality standards are met.
What you’ll do
- Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, circuits, and mechanical systems
- Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs in line with proposals or roadmaps
- Conduct complex simulations and analyses to implement designs with best power, performance, and area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new requirements and improve yield and quality
- Evaluate, characterize, and develop manufacturing solutions for leading edge products
- Evaluate reliability of critical materials and bring innovation and optimization to maximize productivity
- Identify potential flaws, compatibility issues, and/or compliance issues in complex design features
- Write detailed technical documentation for Hardware projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
- 2+ years of experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF)
- 2+ years of experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software
- 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role

Education
