The Production Engineering Specialist optimizes assembly methods, processes, and equipment, leads Capex/Opex procurement, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Based in Vadodara, India, this role works on-site full-time, collaborating with production, quality, supply chain, design, and finance teams to meet production targets and cost goals.
What you’ll do
- Optimize production methods, cycle time, and equipment performance
- Lead end‑to‑end Capex and Opex procurement for manufacturing infrastructure
- Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, and testing infrastructure
- Manage asset capitalization and compliance with financial policies
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders for engineering projects
- Drive continuous improvement and cost‑optimization initiatives
What you’ll bring
- Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering degree
- 5-8 years experience in rotating machine or process industries
- Hands‑on AutoCAD/3D modeling/SolidWorks
Nice to have
- AutoCAD proficiency
- SolidWorks expertise
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
