About the role
Digital IP team within MCU/MPU Engineering at NXP develops IP solutions for automotive, IoT, networking and RF products. The Sr. Principal Verification Engineer leads pre-silicon verification, creates UVM testbenches, defines verification plans and collaborates with HW, FW and system teams. What you’ll do
- Define and write IP verification plans
- Develop UVM verification environments
- Create test cases, stimuli and assertions
- Run simulations, regressions and coverage analysis
- Interface with hardware, firmware and software teams
- Debug designs pre- and post-silicon
- Lead verification efforts for IP modules/subsystems
- Communicate verification status and results
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years IP verification experience
- Tech lead or DV manager experience
- UVM methodology expertise
- Verilog/SystemVerilog proficiency
- C/C++ knowledge
- Metric driven verification
- Directed and constrained random methods
- Formal verification knowledge
