About the role
Branch Control Unit: Circle BCU Team at Axis Bank drives unified controls, risk and compliance across the branch network. The team leader assesses branch performance, conducts quarterly visits, mitigates fraud risks, and ensures audit readiness while coordinating with Circle and Cluster leaders. Based in Khammam, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Complete quarterly S&P visits for all branches
- Identify and mitigate fraud risks
- Ensure compliance with cash, loan, and locker processes
- Drive internal audit ratings through training and reviews
- Achieve BOHI targets for the Circle
- Close EDD and AML cases within TAT
- Manage daily operational tasks like voucher movement and eRegister updates
- Lead L&D initiatives for branch staff
What you’ll bring
- Graduate or Post Graduation
- 7-12 years core banking experience
- Deep understanding of banking operations
- Proficiency with core CBS software
