Software Engineering Technical Specialist, Workday Integrations

About the role

Enterprise HR Integration Team at Kyndryl builds and maintains integration solutions connecting Workday to payroll, benefits, IAM, recruiting and other enterprise platforms. The role designs, develops, implements and supports these integrations, troubleshoots production incidents and ensures data accuracy and security. Remote work from India, supporting global HR processes.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and configure Workday integration solutions
• Support and monitor production integrations, resolve incidents
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, benefits, security and external vendors
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Identify and implement automation and reliability improvements
• Participate in testing, deployment and release activities
• Perform root cause analysis for integration issues
• Maintain documentation of integration designs and processes

What you’ll bring

• Experience supporting enterprise integrations, preferably with Workday
• Hands‑on Workday integration technologies (Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs)
• Understanding of Hire‑to‑Retire business processes
• Experience with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP integrations
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Workday Integration Certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience with global HRIS integrations
• Familiarity with HR data privacy and security requirements
• Experience working with SaaS vendors
