About the role
Application Engineering team at PACCAR develops and maintains software tools and processes that support vehicle manufacturing and logistics. The Senior Software Engineer translates business needs into functional and technical specifications, creates user stories, plans and executes deliverables, and leads a small team of analysts while ensuring quality and compliance. Based in Pune, India, on-site work with occasional collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- 7-10+ years software development and application support
- Expertise with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL
- Proficient in Visual Studio for application development
- Experience with SSRS and Power BI reporting tools
- Knowledge of DocuWare, DocuSign, Exact/BPA document management
- Ability to gather requirements, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria
- Lead and coach team members in project execution
- Coordinate testing, documentation, and user training
