About the role

Software Engineering team at Whirlpool designs and develops software for home appliances and related platforms. The role partners with the SES Execution team to deliver product leadership through test automation and robust embedded, mobile, and cloud solutions, ensuring flawless software delivery across regions. Pune, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Partner with SES Execution team to deliver product leadership and test automation
• Develop and debug embedded, mobile, and cloud software components
• Integrate Gen AI concepts into testing frameworks
• Ensure hardware compatibility and influence hardware design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support continuous integration processes

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years embedded/mobile/cloud software development or testing
• Knowledge of Nucleus, WIN, Zephyr OS, RTOS and industrial protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, MQTT)
• AWS basics (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS)
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira)
• Proficiency in C#, Python, Java
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
