About the role
Finance & Accounts department at Bajaj Finance Limited oversees regulatory compliance and financial reporting. The role leads preparation of RBI returns, manages regulatory audits, and drives automation projects for RBI reporting. Based in Pune, on-site, with occasional cross‑functional coordination for ad‑hoc RBI data submissions.
What you’ll do
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and annual RBI returns
- Compile data for regulatory inspections and ad‑hoc RBI requests
- Handle statutory, internal and regulatory audits related to RBI reporting
- Lead end‑to‑end automation projects for RBI reporting
- Analyze system changes for granular RBI reporting and implement solutions
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely RBI submissions
- Review and improve regulatory reporting processes and control charts
Nice to have
- Chartered Accountant or MBA
- 4-5 years experience in financial/regulatory reporting
- Knowledge of RBI guidelines
- Familiarity with IGAAP/IND‑AS
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills
