Lead Technical Program Manager

About the role

The Data Commercialization Platform team at Mastercard seeks a Lead Technical Program Manager to drive the enterprise Data & AI platform strategy. This role leads large-scale, cross-functional technical initiatives spanning cloud infrastructure, AI/ML enablement, and governance. The position is based in Pune, India, on an on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Drive execution of complex platform initiatives from inception through delivery
• Lead cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering teams and domains
• Manage dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies for large-scale initiatives
• Build relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders
• Establish governance mechanisms and drive execution against strategic roadmaps
• Facilitate strategic planning sessions, architecture reviews, and steering committees
• Drive improvements in delivery processes, operational readiness, and governance
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure program performance

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related leadership roles
• Proven track record delivering large-scale enterprise technology platforms
• Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures and distributed systems

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of AI/ML Platforms, MLOps, or Kubernetes
• Expertise in Agile delivery methodologies and SAFe environments
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
