About the role
APAC Project Finance and Infrastructure Credit Risk team at J.P. Morgan focuses on structured transactions across diverse industries and countries. As a Credit Risk Associate you will conduct due diligence, build financial models, assess risks, and manage the APAC PF&I portfolio. Based in Mumbai with an on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Conduct due diligence and credit risk assessments, including technical and financial analysis
- Build and maintain financial models for project finance transactions
- Analyze risks and recommend protective structures
- Prepare credit memorandums and ad‑hoc reports
- Support transaction execution and system set‑up
- Manage credit exposure ensuring policy and regulatory compliance
- Monitor client industry trends and risks
- Own portfolio management and contribute to initiatives
What you’ll bring
- Masters in accounting, finance, economics, engineering or related field
- Experience in financial services or consulting
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Understanding of credit risk management
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience in project & infrastructure finance (renewables, transportation, LNG)
- Strong networking skills
