Release Train Engineer

About the role

Iris Software is seeking a Release Train Engineer to own delivery outcomes and drive Agile maturity across squads in Gurugram, India. The role manages cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments while leading stakeholder engagement across business, technology, and risk teams. Day-to-day work includes driving delivery governance, reporting, compliance, and translating objectives into executable delivery plans. The position emphasizes accountability at the squad/team level and requires experience working with AI tools, specifically Cursor.

What you’ll do

• Own delivery outcomes – ensure timely, quality progress of features and initiatives from discovery to delivery
• Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across squads
• Lead stakeholder engagement – align business, technology, and risk teams on outcomes
• Drive delivery governance, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure clear accountability across teams (not centralised to leadership)
• Improve delivery efficiency, processes, and Agile maturity
• Translate ideas/objectives into executable delivery plans
