About the role

AI Platform & ValueOps team at Broadcom builds the next generation ValueOps Financial Intelligence Solution, an enterprise SaaS platform that leverages AI to optimize cloud costs, forecast capacity, and provide executive insights. The Principal Member of Technical Staff designs and develops cloud‑native services, AI‑powered capabilities using LLMs, agentic AI, and RAG, and creates APIs, microservices, and data pipelines to enable AI copilots and portfolio analytics. Works closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and Cloud Operations to deliver scalable AI services that improve engineering productivity. Bangalore, India, on-site, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop enterprise‑scale cloud‑native services supporting Unified Hybrid FinOps
• Build AI‑powered capabilities using LLMs, agentic AI, MCP, RAG, and enterprise knowledge platforms
• Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve engineering productivity through AI‑assisted software development
• Develop APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and AI orchestration services
• Mentor engineers on modern AI engineering practices and software architecture

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years developing enterprise SaaS applications
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and distributed systems experience
• Experience with Generative AI, AI Agents, LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, MCP, and RAG
• Experience building cloud‑native applications on AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware Cloud Foundation
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and DevOps
• Excellent collaboration and problem‑solving skills
