Revenue Optimization Team at Sabre builds next‑gen data and analytics platforms on Google Cloud. The Software Engineer IV designs and implements high‑performance batch and streaming pipelines with Apache Spark and Airflow, and drives CI/CD and DataOps automation for cloud‑native data workloads. Bengaluru, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across global teams.

What you’ll do

• Partner with Product Management to translate requirements into scalable cloud‑native data solutions
• Design, develop, and deliver batch and streaming pipelines on GCP
• Contribute to data tech stack modernization and adopt managed services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
• Collaborate with architects on technical data roadmap
• Ensure observability, monitoring, and alerting for pipelines
• Troubleshoot production issues in distributed data systems
• Balance performance, reliability, and cloud cost

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years building enterprise‑grade software or data applications
• Hands‑on Apache Spark experience
• Hands‑on Apache Airflow experience
• Strong Python proficiency

Nice to have

• Data modeling (Star Schema, Data Vault)
• dbt, Lakehouse tools (Iceberg, Delta Lake)
• BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, GKE
• Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows
• Terraform or similar IaC
