About the role

Technical Infrastructure team at Google builds and maintains the backbone that powers Google services and Google Cloud. The role writes product and system code, leads design reviews, reviews peer code, contributes documentation, and triages system issues to ensure reliability and performance. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, On-site.

What you’ll do

• Write product or system development code
• Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders
• Review code developed by others and provide feedback
• Contribute to documentation or educational content
• Triage product or system issues and debug/resolve them

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years programming experience in C++, Java, Go or Python
• 1 year experience with an advanced degree
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• 2 years building large‑scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks
• 2 years experience with data structures and algorithms
• Experience developing accessible technologies
