About the role
Enphase Energy's Mechanical Engineering team designs next‑generation energy technologies. As a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer you will own and drive the mechanical design of high‑voltage DC and AC interconnection systems for utility inverters and BESS, performing FEM/FEA, creating custom connectors, and leading cross‑functional development from concept to production. Bangalore office, on‑site 5 days per week, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience
Nice to have
- SolidWorks or equivalent CAD
- FEM/FEA structural and thermal analysis
- Design of high‑voltage busbars and connectors
- Knowledge of UL 9540/9540A, UL1741, IEC 62109 standards
- Experience with injection molding, sheet metal, extrusion
- Tolerance and worst‑case analysis
- Leadership of cross‑functional teams
- High‑volume product design (500k+ units)
