Manager, Performance Reporting

About the role

Investment Risk and Performance team at M&G India drives transformation by delivering consolidated risk analysis and performance reporting for senior management. The Manager leads data control and performance calculation across Aladdin and FactSet, produces accurate regular reports, and supports GIPS verification while managing stakeholder queries. Mumbai, on-site, full-time role with occasional remote collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Lead data control and performance calculation processes across Aladdin and FactSet platforms
• Deliver accurate regular performance and risk reports to senior management
• Set up reporting for new funds and ensure compliance with GIPS standards
• Reconcile performance data between custodians, performance engines, and attribution systems
• Manage stakeholder queries from fund managers, investment specialists, and sales teams
• Collaborate with back office and technology teams to ensure high‑quality data inputs
• Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the team

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3 years investment performance experience
• Experience with performance measurement, accounting, data management, or financial reporting in investment management
• Strong mathematical background and analytical thinking
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Aladdin, FactSet, StatPro, or Reuters Eikon
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across virtual teams and independently
• CFA or CIPM certification or working towards them
