About the role
SoC Design Team at NVIDIA builds next-generation system-on-chip platforms that power cutting‑edge computing devices. The Senior SoC Design Engineer drives SOC execution across verification, DFT, low‑power, and validation groups, leads architecture reviews, and mentors design engineers. Bengaluru, India, hybrid work model (Hybrid).
What you’ll do
- Drive SOC execution with multi‑functional teams, defining and tracking dependencies
- Conduct SOC assembly, quality checks, connectivity reviews, lint/CDC, bug triaging, code reviews, and ECOs
- Participate in silicon architecture and micro‑architecture reviews, collaborating across architecture, SW/FW, verification, and validation teams
- Collaborate with IP development teams for IP selection and licensing
- Identify, hire, and mentor SOC design engineers, improving processes and proposing solutions
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of hands‑on SoC design experience
- Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB)
- Strong coding skills in Perl or Python
- Experience with RTL build flows and Makefiles
- Background developing tools/infrastructure using Perl or Python
