NVH CAE Engineer/Analyst

About the role

Powertrain NVH CAE Simulation & Evaluation team at Maruti Suzuki India focuses on reducing noise, vibration, and harshness in powertrain systems through advanced computational analysis. The NVH CAE Engineer/Analyst builds detailed finite‑element models, runs modal, FRF, and multi‑body dynamics simulations using Hypermesh, SimLab, NASTRAN, ACTRAN and AVL Excite, interprets results, and collaborates with testing teams to implement countermeasures. Based in Gurugram, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Prepare detailed FE models of powertrain components and assemblies
• Conduct modal, FRF, and multi‑body dynamics simulations for NVH analysis
• Interpret simulation results to identify failure modes and recommend countermeasures
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings with design and testing teams
• Collaborate with testing groups to correlate CAE results with physical test data

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of experience with Hypermesh, SimLab, NASTRAN, ACTRAN, AVL Excite
• Proficiency in Python or VB scripting
• Understanding of powertrain NVH, vibration and acoustics fundamentals
• Familiarity with ISO NVH test standards and engine anechoic testing
