NVH CAE Engineer Analyst

About the role

Engineering - Vehicle NVH CAE Simulation & Evaluation team focuses on reducing vehicle noise and vibration through advanced CAE modeling. The role builds full‑vehicle CAE models, runs NVH simulations, interprets results and advises design countermeasures while collaborating with testing teams. Gurugram, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Prepare full‑vehicle CAE models using HyperMesh/ANSYS, including meshing, assembly and load setup
• Conduct NVH simulations with NASTRAN/ACTRAN and analyze outcomes
• Interpret simulation results to identify failure modes and recommend countermeasures
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate with design and testing teams for implementation
• Collaborate with testing groups to correlate CAE predictions with physical test data and improve methodologies

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of automotive noise and vibration
• Proficiency with CAE meshing tools such as HyperMesh
• Understanding of transfer paths for road and power‑train noise
• Familiarity with automotive sheet‑metal and plastic part design
• Ability to debug CAE models and resolve Nastran errors
• Experience working with NVH CAE engineers to modify designs
• Exposure to physical NVH test procedures and results interpretation
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
