About the role
Metro Project Interface Management Office at Larsen & Toubro oversees coordination of civil, systems, rolling stock, utilities and operations for metro construction. The Chief Interface Manager leads interface planning, registers, risk mitigation and BIM‑driven multidisciplinary integration, ensuring seamless handover to operations. Chennai, on-site, full‑time role with stakeholder liaison across EPC contractors, consultants and government agencies.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage all project interfaces across design, construction, testing and operations
- Coordinate civil, track, signaling, telecom, power, AFC, MEP and rolling stock packages
- Maintain Interface Register and track issue closure
- Review interface drawings and ensure system‑civil compatibility
- Support BIM and digital coordination for multidisciplinary integration
- Monitor interface‑related delays and mitigation plans
- Coordinate integrated testing and handover to operations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Transportation Engineering
- 15+ years large infrastructure/rail/metro experience
- 5+ years interface management
