About the role

Civil Infrastructure HCI team at Larsen & Toubro builds integrated underground metro systems. The Chief Interface Engineer leads civil-systems interface management, coordinates technical integration of electrical, mechanical, signaling and traction power systems, and ensures safety and standards compliance across tunnels and stations. Kolkata, on-site, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Manage combined services drawings to prevent system collisions
• Coordinate structural openings for electrical and signaling equipment
• Allocate space in technical rooms and tunnel walkways
• Oversee integration of ventilation, traction power, and signaling systems
• Develop and maintain interface control documents between contractors
• Lead conflict resolution meetings for technical disputes
• Coordinate integrated testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with international metro safety standards
