Employee Knowledge & Content Strategy Manager

About the role

Fortive seeks an Employee Knowledge & Content Strategy Manager to build and govern the HR knowledge function across its 10 operating companies. The role defines strategy, content standards, and governance to connect HR data across ServiceNow and SharePoint for AI-enabled self-service. This position is based in Bengaluru, India.

What you’ll do

  • Design and maintain HR knowledge architecture including taxonomy and metadata
  • Establish content governance for intake, review, approval, and version control
  • Lead COE and OpCo governance forums to ensure policy alignment
  • Partner with HR Technology teams to create persona-relevant information strategies
  • Use analytics to identify gaps and improve self-service adoption
  • Lead content inventory, cleanup, and migration across existing repositories
  • Enable HR content owners through training and writing standards
  • Define and report success measures like search success and case deflection

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, Information Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or knowledge management
  • 3+ years leading knowledge management or content governance initiatives
  • Hands-on experience managing ServiceNow knowledge base implementation or optimization
  • Experience governing HR content across SharePoint, portals, and other repositories

Nice to have

  • Experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery or employee portals strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of HR domains such as benefits, compensation, and payroll
