About the role
GDS Cyber - DPP at EY focuses on protecting client data in AI-driven environments. The AI Data Protection Field Engineer deploys, integrates, tests, and troubleshoots AI-enabled data protection solutions across cloud, SaaS, endpoint, and collaboration platforms. Works hands‑on with clients in Bengaluru, on-site, delivering configurations, integrations, and reusable assets to secure sensitive information.
What you’ll do
- Configure and deploy AI‑enabled data protection capabilities
- Integrate protection platforms with AI models and enterprise workflows
- Execute implementation, validation, testing, and troubleshooting tasks
- Support workshops, technical assessments, pilots, and proof‑of‑value activities
- Develop reusable playbooks, deployment guides, and code snippets
What you’ll bring
- 5 years experience in data protection or related cybersecurity
- Knowledge of DLP, data discovery, classification, PKI/KMS
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as NLP, RAG, model risk scoring
- Experience with tools like Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude Enterprise, Python
- Understanding of cloud security on Azure, AWS, or GCP
Nice to have
- Strong troubleshooting and client‑facing communication skills
- Ability to write Python scripts or automations
- Experience integrating AI models with data protection platforms
