About the role
Enterprise Reliability and Implementation team at Apple IS&T builds and operates the global enterprise network that powers Apple services worldwide. The Network Quality Engineer ensures stability and performance of the EMEIA network, designs secure scalable solutions for remote offices, and drives incident resolution, automation, and documentation. Based in Bangalore, India, this role works on multi‑vendor WAN/LAN, VPN, and firewall technologies in a fast‑paced, global environment.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and improve enterprise network stability and performance
- Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions for remote sites
- Handle complex incident escalations and drive root‑cause resolution
- Develop and maintain network documentation and standards
- Leverage automation, monitoring, and scripting to increase efficiency
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years network support and operations experience
- Hands‑on with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto products
- Multi‑vendor WAN/LAN, VPN, and firewall expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience with virtual routers, switches, firewalls, cloud networking
- Documentation and proof‑of‑concept development
- Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
