About the role
Cloud Engineering team at Insight delivers expert guidance and support for Microsoft 365 and multi‑cloud environments. The Cloud Engineer III provides technical support, resolves complex Azure/AWS infrastructure issues, and participates in 24/7 on‑call rotation while optimizing performance and security. Hybrid role based in Hyderabad, India with occasional onsite collaboration.
What you’ll do
- Provide technical support for customer cloud environments
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and storage issues
- Analyze performance problems and recommend optimization strategies
- Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support
- Conduct root cause analysis and produce incident reports
- Develop and maintain knowledge‑base articles and best‑practice guides
- Assist with disaster recovery planning, cloud migrations, and cost optimization
- Implement security measures and perform vulnerability remediation
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years Azure cloud engineering
- Hands‑on Azure/AWS experience
- Windows Server/Linux administration
- Active Directory and DNS expertise
- Azure Firewall, Route tables, WAF knowledge
- Azure governance (Management Groups, Policy, RBAC)
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field
- AZ‑104, AZ‑700, AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent certifications
