About the role

What you’ll do
- Design and implement on-premises storage solutions for VMware and OpenStack
- Automate storage provisioning and lifecycle using IaC practices
- Monitor performance, capacity, and cost, and optimize infrastructure
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Create runbooks and architecture documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and operations for compliance and risk mitigation
- Provide on-call support for storage services
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years managing large-scale storage infrastructure
- 5+ years configuring on-premises storage appliances
- Strong knowledge of iSCSI and Fibre Channel
- Experience with Dell, HP, or NetApp SAN/NAS/Object storage
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance
