About the role
Wind Operations & Maintenance team at ReNew ensures reliable operation of utility-scale wind turbines across India. The Junior Engineer performs preventive and corrective maintenance on turbine mechanical components, documents work in SAP, and supports safety and reliability initiatives. Based in India, on-site role with travel to remote wind farm locations as needed.
What you’ll do
- Execute scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbine generators
- Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components such as gearboxes and pitch mechanisms
- Comply with EHS protocols including LOTO and work-at-height safety
- Document maintenance activities and update work orders in SAP
- Support turbine start‑stop operations and emergency situations
- Participate in health audits, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives
