About the role
Global Data Analytics (GDA) team at Amazon empowers Finance Operations with data-driven solutions and AI‑assisted insights. The BI Engineer II builds dashboards, self‑serve analytics, and AI‑enhanced insight products, writing advanced SQL and leveraging QuickSight and internal GenAI tools. Pune, MH, IND, on-site, relocation available.
What you’ll do
- Partner with Finance Operations leaders to define metrics and deliver analytics
- Write advanced SQL and maintain QuickSight dashboards
- Design AI‑assisted analytics like natural‑language Q&A and LLM‑generated narratives
- Build self‑serve analytics products using internal GenAI tooling
- Define and enforce metric definitions as data custodian
- Identify automation opportunities and measure efficiency gains
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years data analysis with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
- 5+ years Tableau or QuickSight visualization
- Experience building complex SQL queries
- Python scripting for data processing
- Data modeling and ETL pipeline experience
