About the role
Power Protection & Quality Solutions team at AMETEK builds industrial embedded systems. The Embedded Firmware Engineer creates lightweight graphical UIs for Linux‑based devices using Qt/QML, LVGL or Flutter and develops responsive web dashboards for configuration and monitoring. Works on‑device UI optimization and web integration, Bangalore office, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement graphical UIs for embedded Linux devices using appropriate frameworks
- Optimize UI rendering, animations, and widget performance for constrained resources
- Develop clean, responsive web interfaces for device configuration and monitoring dashboards
- Integrate UI components with device APIs through REST, WebSockets, or local services
- Collaborate with UX, firmware, and Linux platform teams to ensure consistent design and reliability
What you’ll bring
- Solid understanding of graphical UI elements and layout principles
- Familiarity with embedded UI toolkits such as Qt/QML, LVGL, Flutter
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for responsive web design
- Experience with Linux command‑line tools for debugging UI performance
- Understanding of embedded Linux fundamentals and cross‑compiling
- Ability to integrate UI components with device APIs via REST or WebSockets
- Knowledge of Git version control
- Strong analytical and communication skills
