About the role
Experian is a global data and technology company powering opportunities across financial services, healthcare, automotive, agribusiness, insurance, and more. The Senior Technology Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of complex, strategic technology initiatives across the EMEA and APAC regions, managing projects from initiation through implementation and operational handover. Day-to-day work includes developing integrated project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams across countries and time zones, leading governance forums and steering committees, maintaining RAID and financial controls, and championing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies. This full-time role is based in Hyderabad, India and follows a hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Lead multiple concurrent technology projects from initiation through to operational handover, ranging from medium to large scope and complexity (typically 100-1000+ effort days)
- Develop, maintain, and actively manage integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps, and milestone schedules
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Drive project execution ensuring delivery against agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across multiple countries and time zones and matrix-manage internal and external teams
- Build trusted relationships with business sponsors, technology teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders across the organisation
- Lead governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting to ensure informed decision-making and effective escalation
- Maintain comprehensive RAID management, proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years managing complex technology projects including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology implementations
- PMI Accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification
- Demonstrated success managing projects through the full project lifecycle
- Experience leading multiple concurrent technology projects from initiation through operational handover
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across multiple countries and time zones
- Strong governance, stakeholder engagement, financial control, and risk management capabilities
- Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
Nice to have
- Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, AgilePM or similar)
- Experience working within global matrix organisations
