Senior Engineer, EDG Validation

About the role

MNAND Validation – Validation Engineering at Micron Technology builds and validates managed NAND memory products. The Senior Engineer develops test strategies, automates validation frameworks, and leverages AI/ML tools to improve defect prediction and test efficiency. Hyderabad, India, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days.

What you’ll do

• Develop and document software and hardware test solutions for mNAND validation
• Create and maintain test cases, PASS/FAIL criteria, and automation libraries
• Implement AI/ML-driven analytics to improve test coverage and defect prediction
• Lead failure analysis using protocol, oscilloscope, and logic analyzers
• Collaborate with design and development teams to define requirements and resolve issues
• Generate clear validation reports and maintain documentation

What you’ll bring

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of storage products and NAND basics
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python
• Understanding of protocols such as UFS and eMMC
• Experience developing test strategies and automation frameworks
• Ability to analyze defects using AI/ML techniques
