About the role

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at Bentley Systems ensures reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of critical services. The SRE Manager leads multiple SRE teams, drives automation, incident response, and reliability roadmaps while mentoring engineers and collaborating across product and cloud operations. Pune, Hybrid (3 days onsite), relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

  • Lead SRE teams delivering reliability, availability, and performance
  • Define and enforce SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and incident management processes
  • Develop reliability roadmaps balancing feature delivery and technical debt
  • Mentor and grow engineering talent through hiring, coaching, and career development
  • Collaborate with development, QA, product, and security to embed SRE practices early
  • Drive automation and eliminate toil via platform engineering
  • Represent SRE in executive reviews, customer escalations, and strategic planning

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or reliability engineering
  • 4+ years with Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • 4+ years Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible)
  • 4+ years Kubernetes and container workloads
  • 4+ years observability and telemetry tools
  • 3+ years people or technical leadership
  • Experience operating business‑critical production services
  • Experience leading major incidents and postmortems
