About the role
Technical Trainer at Qualys in Pune will design and deliver structured technical training for Technical Implementation Engineers, support teams, and engineering stakeholders. The role blends training design, content development, and hands‑on implementation exposure, evolving into product ownership. Responsibilities include delivering instructor‑led modules, lab guides, break‑fix scenarios, assessments, and maintaining virtual lab environments. The trainer will consolidate product knowledge into learning modules, participate in New Product Introduction, shadow customer onboarding, engage in architecture discussions, document best practices, and identify automation opportunities. Candidates must have 3–7 years of experience in enterprise IT products (Security, DevOps, QA, Support, or Implementation), strong understanding of operating systems, networking, cybersecurity concepts, cloud fundamentals, APIs, and databases, a troubleshooting mindset, independent learning ability, clear communication, and presentation skills, and the ability to manage parallel responsibilities. Preferred experience includes technical support, customer onboarding, technical training, public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), scripting (Python, Bash, API), lab environment building, and familiarity with Qualys products. The position is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote), requires relocation to Pune, and offers a full‑time role with a start date of 02/19/2026.
What you’ll do
- Deliver structured technical training sessions for TIEs, support teams, engineering stakeholders
- Assist in developing training materials including instructor‑led modules, lab guides, break‑fix scenarios, assessments
- Support creation and maintenance of virtual lab environments
- Consolidate product knowledge into structured learning modules
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) knowledge consolidation
- Shadow and assist in customer onboarding projects
- Participate in architecture discussions and deployment reviews
- Understand implementation milestones, deployment sequencing, integration workflows
- Support documentation of implementation best practices
- Identify automation opportunities in onboarding processes
What you’ll bring
- 3–7 years of working or Training experience in Enterprise IT products (Security, DevOps, QA, Support, or Implementation roles)
- Strong understanding of enterprise software fundamentals: Operating Systems, Networking, Cybersecurity concepts, Cloud Platform fundamentals, APIs, Databases
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
- Ability to learn complex technical systems independently
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Interest in both implementation and training domains
- Ability to manage parallel responsibilities effectively
Nice to have
- Experience in Technical Support , customer onboarding , Technical Training or technical implementation
- Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
- Basic scripting experience (Python, Bash, API scripting)
- Experience building lab environments
