CAE Engineer Analyst, Strength & Durability

About the role

Engineering Department at Maruti Suzuki focuses on vehicle strength and durability. The CAE Engineer Analyst builds and runs finite element models of body and chassis components, performs linear and non‑linear strength and fatigue analyses, and interprets results to guide design improvements. Works on‑site in Gurgaon, collaborating with design and testing teams to validate CAE predictions and support value‑enhancement proposals.

What you’ll do

• Develop CAE models including mesh, constraints, and loads for body and chassis components
• Conduct linear and non‑linear strength and durability analyses
• Interpret analysis results, identify failure modes, and recommend countermeasures
• Document findings and communicate with design and testing stakeholders
• Collaborate with testing teams to correlate CAE and physical test results
• Support generation and evaluation of value‑enhancement proposals

What you’ll bring

• BE/BTech Mechanical (required)
• ME/MTech Mechanical Design (preferred)
• 8-10 years CAE experience
• Hypermesh modeling
• Nastran and LS‑Dyna analysis
• FEMFAT or MSC Fatigue knowledge
• Experience with optimization tools (Optistruct, Mode Frontier)
• Exposure to multibody dynamics (ADAMS)
