About the role
Engineering Department at Maruti Suzuki India focuses on vehicle strength and durability CAE evaluation. The CAE Engineer/Analyst builds and meshes automotive body and chassis components, runs linear and non‑linear strength and durability analyses, interprets results and recommends countermeasures. Works on‑site in Gurgaon, collaborating with design and testing teams to align CAE models with physical tests and support value‑enhancement proposals.
What you’ll do
- Develop CAE models: mesh, assembly, constraints, loads
- Perform strength and durability analyses (linear & non‑linear)
- Interpret results, identify failure modes, propose countermeasures
- Document findings and communicate with design and testing stakeholders
- Coordinate with testing teams to correlate CAE and physical test results
- Support generation and evaluation of value‑enhancement proposals
What you’ll bring
- BE/BTech Mechanical (required)
- ME/MTech Mechanical Design (preferred)
Nice to have
- 8-10 years CAE experience
- Hypermesh modeling
- Nastran & LS‑Dyna analysis
- Hyperview & LS Pre‑Post post‑processing
- FEMFAT/MSC Fatigue or NCode
- ADAMS multibody exposure
- Optistruct/Mode Frontier optimization
