Global Category Supplier Quality Engineer - Castings and Castings Machining

About the role

AGCO is seeking a Global Category SQE- Castings & Castings Machining to support supplier quality across its manufacturing sites, regions, and business functions. The role focuses on total PPAP ownership for designated components, achieving supplier quality KPIs that impact machine quality and reliability, and resolving supplier performance issues with regional SQE teams. The position also covers NPI and part development, plus continuous monitoring of NCR, PPM, and RFT metrics. This on-site role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

What you’ll do

• Take primary ownership of total PPAP for designated components and parts for regional and local projects and factories
• Achieve all defined KPI targets for the Supplier Quality process that impact machine quality internally within manufacturing plants and machine reliability externally
• Work with regional and manufacturing site SQE personnel to resolve supplier performance issues originating from the supplier quality area of the machine lifecycle and ensure root cause issues are reso
• Support NPI and Resourcing, including part development
• Continuously monitor and improve supplier quality performance using NCR, PPM, and RFT metrics

What you’ll bring

• Minimum of eight years’ experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with suppliers and leading supply chain quality improvement efforts
• Technical experience with one of the many industrial commodities and manufacturing processes
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to drive change and compliance to a standard process across a functional team
• Strong understanding and engagement with AGCO manufacturing sites, regions, business functions, roles, and responsibilities
• Excellent analytical skills to understand requirements and specifications for AGCO products
