About the role

Rack Lifecycle Team at Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services builds and operates the physical data center infrastructure that powers AWS cloud services. The Rack Lifecycle Tech installs, cables, tests, documents, and decommissions racks on the floor, following SOPs and updating CMDB/DCIM records to ensure capacity is delivered safely and reliably. Mumbai, India, on-site (3 days onsite), relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

  • Execute rack installations and structured cabling per AWS standards
  • Perform OTDR and power testing and document results
  • Maintain accurate inventory and update CMDB/DCIM records
  • Support material handling, staging, and supply chain processes
  • Escalate deviations and safety issues to team lead
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and pre‑work briefings
