P&ID Designer

About the role

Quest Global's engineering team drives innovative piping design solutions for complex projects. The P&ID Designer creates and validates detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams, collaborates with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with standards, and resolves design ambiguities. Bengaluru office, on-site role, with opportunities to work on diverse engineering initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Review and revise P&ID designs based on redline markups
• Create plot plans from 3D scans with accurate equipment representation
• Assign tags for equipment, instruments, and piping
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements

What you’ll bring

• 1-4 years AutoCAD 2D drafting
• Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, EURO, CSA codes
• Effective teamwork in diverse groups
• Adaptability to new tools and technologies
• Strong problem‑solving mindset
• Attention to detail

Nice to have

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
• Proven experience as a Piping Engineer
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
