Piping Designer and P&ID Validator

About the role

Quest Global team designs and validates piping systems, creating accurate P&ID, PFD, and plot plans to support engineering projects. The role drafts and revises designs, reviews 3D scans, assigns tags, and collaborates with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with standards. Bengaluru, India, on-site, 40‑hour week.

What you’ll do

• Review and markup P&IDs and 3D scans
• Revise designs based on redline markups
• Create plot plans from 3D scans
• Assign tags to equipment, instruments, piping
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers
• Document ambiguities and communicate to stakeholders
• Guide team on technical clarifications
• Participate in project meetings

What you’ll bring

• 1-4 years AutoCAD 2D drafting
• Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, EURO, CSA codes
• Proficiency in Plant 3D

Nice to have

• Diploma or bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Experience as Piping Engineer
