What you’ll do
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for web, mobile, and API services
- Perform threat modeling and secure design reviews
- Develop and enforce secure coding standards and security policies
- Integrate security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor developers and QA engineers on fixing security issues
- Evaluate and triage findings from bug bounty programs
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security compliance
- Document security findings and remediation guidance
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years software development or SaaS experience
- 2-3 years application security engineering
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- Hands‑on VA/PT with OWASP Top 10 knowledge
- Experience with SAST/DAST/SCA tools (Burp, Veracode, Snyk, etc.)
- Cloud security experience (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with fintech compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR)
- Certifications such as OSCP or GWAPT preferred
