About the role
Product Security Engineer at Hugohub, building security into every aspect of the product development lifecycle. What you’ll do
- Conduct threat modeling sessions for new features
- Perform static and dynamic application security testing
- Implement SAST tools in CI/CD pipelines
- Develop automated security testing frameworks
- Create security dashboards and KPIs
- Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities
- Establish cloud security best practices for AWS
- Provide security guidance across engineering teams
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years product or application security experience
- Strong threat modeling and secure design review
- Web and mobile application security testing
- DevSecOps tool integration (SAST, DAST)
- Python or Bash scripting for security automation
- Security analytics and data analysis
- Experience with AWS cloud security
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 frameworks
