About the role
DP World Global Service Centre Operations team ensures smooth freight forwarding processes for global trade. The Specialist manages daily consignments, updates the Cargorunner system, handles billing and customer communications, and coordinates with carriers to resolve issues. Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, India, on-site role.
What you’ll do
- Manage daily export job entries into freight forwarding automation
- Perform data entry and milestone updates in Cargorunner platform
- Ensure accurate billing per client agreements and communicate invoices
- Monitor emails and communications with internal and external customers
- Provide advice on import/export documentation
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and customers to resolve missing or damaged shipments
- Handle insurance claims and incident reporting
- Maintain KPIs and improve daily work procedures
What you’ll bring
- 3-5 years freight forwarding experience
- Experience with Dubai trade/cargowaves platforms
- Advanced knowledge of Incoterms and sea/air shipping modes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and adopt new systems
- Strong professional communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Operational efficiency and time management
