About the role

CapGrid, a tech-enabled design-to-deliver company for automotive and industrial parts, transforms supply chains with cloud manufacturing and dynamic fulfillment. The Deputy Manager/Manager, Sourcing/Vendor Development drives supplier onboarding, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and vendor relationship management across consumer durable categories. Works closely with cross‑functional teams to develop components, negotiate contracts, and improve supply chain efficiency. Based in Gurugram, on‑site role with potential relocation assistance.

What you’ll do

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across multiple consumer durable categories
• Develop and maintain a robust supplier network to support business growth
• Manage multiple vendors ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Lead supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and validation for optimal outcomes
• Drive component and part development with suppliers and internal teams
• Build long‑term vendor relationships and conduct regular performance reviews
• Identify cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain efficiency opportunities
• Own sourcing projects with proactive execution in a fast‑paced startup environment

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years vendor development and sourcing experience in Consumer Durables
• Proven cost validation and commercial negotiation skills
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination
