About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a senior leader for its VLSI design and verification team, driving architecture, logic design, and physical implementation of complex integrated circuits. The role oversees multiple VLSI projects, manages headcount, budgets, and supplier relationships, and mentors a large team of engineers and staff. Bengaluru, India, onsite work model with on‑site expectations.

What you’ll do

• Lead VLSI design and verification teams across all project stages
• Manage headcount, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for multiple programs
• Coordinate with partners, suppliers, and cross‑functional leaders to ensure delivery
• Drive process improvement and cost optimization in VLSI development
• Oversee hiring, performance planning, and total rewards for the lab

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 12+ years VLSI design experience
• 5+ years people management experience
