About the role

Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business using cloud technology. As a Platform Customer Engineer you partner with technical sales teams to design and deliver cross‑pillar Google Cloud solutions, conduct demos, proofs of concept, and guide customers through implementation. Role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India or Gurugram, Haryana, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Develop and own technical account plans and strategies
• Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture to showcase Google Cloud value
• Architect cross‑pillar solutions and lead technical engagements
• Facilitate post‑sales transition and support pricing activities
• Maintain progress awareness and support cross‑functional teams during delivery

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years cloud native architecture experience in a customer‑facing role
• Experience with cloud engineering, virtualization or containerization
• Presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders
• Proficiency in programming, debugging, systems design, prototyping
• Translating customer objectives into integrated cloud solutions
• Selling technical solutions in infrastructure or application modernization
• Knowledge of security concepts such as encryption and identity management
