About the role
Pearson Cloud FinOps team focuses on cloud cost transparency and optimisation across a multi‑cloud estate. The Lead Specialist drives data‑driven financial insights, produces multi‑cloud cost reports, partners with Cloud Governance to map data flows, forecasts hosting expenses and recommends optimisations while supporting KPI setting and automation initiatives. Bangalore, India (Hybrid) with USA shift (6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST).
What you’ll do
- Produce multi‑cloud cost reports for management
- Collaborate with global cross‑functional teams to gather requirements
- Support FinOps KPI setting and data modeling
- Partner with Cloud Governance to map data processes
- Analyze and forecast cloud hosting costs
- Provide cost optimisation recommendations
- Create month‑end and quarter‑end financial reports
- Collect requirements and design automation solutions
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years IT/Finance experience
- Undergraduate or master’s in CS, MIS or Data Analytics
- Python programming
- Data analytics and PowerBI
- Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms
- FinOps cost management tools
- Advanced Excel
- Agentic AI experience
