About the role

Model Risk Governance Team at Citigroup focuses on overseeing model risk across the enterprise. The Lead Analyst supports the first‑line‑of‑defense by managing model inventories, tracking documentation, coordinating validation activities, and ensuring compliance with Citi MRM policies. Based in DLF CYBERCITY 12B, India, this on‑site role involves daily interaction with model sponsors and senior governance staff to produce status reports and dashboards. The position offers exposure to regulatory frameworks such as SR 11‑7 and opportunities to deepen expertise in model risk management.

What you’ll do

• Support implementation and monitoring of Citi MRM policy through operational tracking and reporting
• Maintain governance documentation, procedures, and templates
• Coordinate business line participation in meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and trackers
• Assist in model identification, documentation review, and version control
• Track validation activities, remediation plans, and performance monitoring schedules
• Produce routine status reports, dashboards, and inventory attestation results

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years experience, including 3-6 years in risk management or model governance
• Foundational knowledge of model risk management concepts and model lifecycle
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple tasks and stakeholder follow‑ups
• Detail‑oriented with data quality awareness and inventory tracking experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication for status reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
